Remember this hat from a while back?

Well, here, finally, is the free pattern for you~

Laurie’s Hat:

• RYC Rowan Classic Cashsoft Aran Yarn.

•  95 yds/50 grams; 57% extra fine merino, 33% microfiber, 10% cashmere

• Gauge: 4.75 stitches to 1 inch using US 7 knitting needles.

CO 90 – join & PM

Forest lace pattern/bottom edge:

Row 1, 5 & 9: [k1, yo, ssk, yo, ssk, k1, k2tog, yo, k2tog, yo] – repeat sequence 9x to end of row.

Row 2, 6 & 10: k90

Row 3, 7 & 11: [k2, yo, ssk, yo, sl1, k2tog, psso, yo, k2tog, yo, k1] – repeat sequence 9x to end of row.

Row 4, 8 & 12: k90

Garter: *note* odd stitch counts every 3rd row due to cable running along the join.

Finish:

Snip working end of yarn to create a 5″ tail. Thread a finishing needle with the tail & pass the yarn through the 5 remaining stitches & pass through remaining gap to inside the hat. Make a double knot, snip tail to 2″ & weave in the end.
